3 Easy Halloween Treats #SpookywithGrace

Halloween is just around the corner and (next to Christmas and Easter) it’s my favourite time of the year! Dressing up, eating a hell of a lot of candy and this unexplainable feeling of excitement on the 31st of October – which probably comes from the time I still went trick or treating. But since it’s still a few days until Halloween and I somehow have to make that time fly, it’s only good that pinterest is overflowing with Halloween themed things right now.
Thanks to good ol’ pinterest I got myself feeling all halloween-y now and to get you into the spooky mood too, I’ll share my three favourite halloween treats with y’all today. Believe me, time runs faster when you make these! And also, they’d look really good for a Halloween party, just saying.

Pretzel Mummies

What You Need
Pretzels
White Chocolate (melted)
Sugar eyes

What You Have To Do
It really is self explanatory. Dip the pretzel into the chocolate, put those eyes on and afterwards drizzle a little bit of white chocolate on top, for that mummy effect.

Chocolate Apple Lollies

What You Need
Apples
Chocolate (milk or semi-sweet)
Caramel sauce
Toppings

What You Have To Do
Cut the apples into slices and dip them into the chocolate. Lay them all out on a baking sheet and put you toppings on top. Afterwards, let them cool in the fridge for at least an hour.

Spooky Brownie

What You Need

400g caster sugar
225 g melted butter
60 g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
225 g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Smarties or M&M’s
Marshmallows
Oreo’s
Kit Kat
Sugar eyes
Caramel Sauce (optional)

What You Have To Do

First, you will have to mix sugar, melted butter and the vanilla extract, until well combined. Then add in four eggs and mix again until the mixture is fluffy and lighter in colour. After that you’ll have to add all the dry ingredients, namely cocoa powder, plain flour, baking powder and salt. Pour your mixture into a rectangular 23×33 cm greased pan and bake it in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes. Add your toppings ten minutes before the brownie is finished, otherwise the oreos and kit kats are going to be burned. Serve with mini-marshmallows and caramel sauce.
